What does a professional organizer do?

  • Answer: A professional organizer’s main goal is to help people. The effects of clutter and disorganization go far beyond just aesthetics. It has been proven to affect your physical, mental and emotional health! It also has an effect on your productivity and even your sleep! So, when you make the choice to work with a professional organizer your not just organizing your space, you’re changing your life for the better.

  • We will meet you right where you are in whatever circumstance you are in, and together we make progress. Were not here to judge, we’re here to help. We first listen to your needs (and we don’t stop listening), then we develop a plan just for you, and most importantly, we are there with you and for you sharing our expertise and knowledge so you can have long-term success.

When should I hire a professional organizer?

  • Answer: There are so many areas and seasons of life that can feel overwhelming, like moving from one home to another, moving a loved one, going through the possessions of a loved one that has passed away, starting a new job, having a baby (or another baby!), or needing to downsize and declutter, organize or reorganize, implement systems that are functional and sustainable, tackle a neglected area, or just not having the time or energy right now, and the list goes on and on. Maybe you just don’t want to do it, and that’s ok! You don’t have to do it alone, that’s what we’re here for, let us help you. Hiring a professional organizer is an investment in yourself and your family, and there is no specific reason you have to have to receive that gift.

What happens during an initial consultation?

  • Answer: This is the first step to making progress, so go you for taking it! We refer to this as the “Evaluate and Discover” step of the organizing process. It gives us a chance to get to know each other. We will look at your spaces and talk about what your needs and goals are, and how we can help you. We will answer any questions you have, and there is no obligation that comes with having a consultation, so you’ve got nothing to lose. If you feel like we are a good fit for you, we will schedule an appointment!

What happens during an organizing session?

  • Answer: We make progress! No need to clean up before we come, seeing your home just the way it is helps us to help you. Remember, no judgment here! During the session you can be as involved as you want to be in each step of the process. When it comes to the simplify step, we will need you to work with us 1:1 making the decluttering decisions only you can make, but don’t worry, we will be with you to guide you. Each session will get you closer to your goal, and you decide how quickly we move and how involved you want to be. We are here for you.

How long will it take to organize my space and how much will it cost?

  • Answer: This depends on the space and the person. We want you to get the absolute most out of your time and money. Even just one session is progress in the right direction. During your consultation we will create a plan that can better answer this question for you.

Are you going to get rid of all my belongings, and what happens to the stuff I do get rid of?

  • Answer: We will get rid of whatever YOU want us to get rid of! It’s your home and your things and we will respect that. We will support and coach you through the decluttering process and even make suggestions, but we will never get rid of anything without your permission.

  • Donations are a blessing, and for you to be able to gift something to someone who needs it is important to us. You can request your items be taken to a donation center of your choice or we can make recommendations on where to donate as well, and even take them there for you if you want!

Are your services Confidential?

  • Answer: Always, absolutely, 100%! We are so thankful you have trusted us to come into your home and work with you. We value confidentiality.
